Whether you are a lover of love and all things V-Day, or a “Hallmark holiday” hater, do we really need an excuse to celebrate and shower tokens of appreciation on the fabulous females in our life?

In recent years, Galentine’s Day has become more and more of a thing, and I am here for it. I mean, even Hallmark has picked up on it- they have a whole card section dedicated to Galentine’s Day.

Although I am a firm believer in letting people know how much they mean to you all year ‘round, I am all for an extra push to say thank you to your tribe.

Give Back

While I love sharing personally tested and favorited products, the truth is that we are living a world with a lot of suffering and need. If you are fortunate enough to have a bit extra these days, and those around you are not in need for material things, or you are just looking for something extra meaningful to give, might I suggest making a donation in your loved one’s name?

Charitable organizations have been working non stop to help in any and every way possible. But they can only do this work and be successful with the help and generosity of volunteers and donations.

By making a donation in someone’s name, you can seek out a charity that is near and dear to that person’s heart. This is a deeply meaningful way to be a contributor of good in this world, and also show care and thought for the receiver of the gift.

However you choose to celebrate Valentine’s Day, know that every single day is an opportunity to tell those around you that you love and care for them. Sometimes the greatest gift you can give, is letting someone know the impact they have and how grateful you are for them. We all just want to be seen.
