Happily Ever After

If all the world’s a stage, these two are most definitely the leads. Maryanne and Chris are theater dynamos, and absolute perfection on and off the stage.

I met Maryanne years ago when we worked together as fellow Ghosts. Maybe I should back up a bit. Many years ago I worked for Ghosts and Gravestones in Boston, where I met Maryanne. We gave spooky tours of historic Boston as our ghost alter egos. It was such a fun, exhausting, and bonding job. I met many people during my time there, who I cherish and love deeply. Maryanne is one of those people. Pictured below, a vision of our former selves, with two of our castmates. I am on the far left, Maryanne is on the far right..

Flash forward over a decade and having risen from our time in the after life, Maryanne asked me to style hair and makeup for her wedding. I was beyond excited to be able to be there for such an important moment in her life.

When I arrived to Maryanne’s parents’ house and childhood home, I immediately felt the warmth, excitement, and love . It was a relaxed getting ready experience, with loads of stories being told, and copious amounts of laughter.

Everything just felt “right”.

I can not wait to watch Maryanne’s next act in life, and all of the wonderful stories and joy it will inevitably contain. Congratulations Maryanne and Chris! A standing ovation for your love story!
